Analysis of Relationship Between the Development of Wheat Stripe Rust and the Meteorological Condition in Southwest Tianshui of Gansu Province

Based on the data of wheat stripe rust observation,the meteorological data from seven weather stations and the data of winter wheat growth periods in different districts of Tianshui during 1994-2006,the characteristics of wheat stripe rust development and the relation between meteorological factors and winter wheat growth period were analyzed with the method of statistics.The results show that the occurring area of winter stripe rust presented linear increase trend after 1994 with the global warming.The epidemic of stripe rust depends on both local meteorological condition and stripe rust developing trend in periphery area.The model for the stripe rust forecast was made and this provide some help for active prevention of stripe rust and scientific decision of winter wheat production.
