Abstract
Sudden environmental pollution accidents had taken placed in Urumqi,although the environment monitoring department had played an irreplaceable role in providing fair,scientific and standardized technical support for the government and higher authorities,but it has been restricted by experience,capital and technology,the current emergency monitoring system had existed some outstanding issues,such as imperfect monitoring plan,device configuration,the low degree of information and technology.etc,for the efforts to solve these problems,it's need to improve the pollution accident emergency monitoring plan of specific environmental risks,establish the GIS-based platform for environmental emergency response information systems,increase the equipment configuration in both field and laboratory,and improve the procedure of training assessment and systemic drill to strengthen emergency monitoring team building.
