Clinical Study of Combine Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine with Chronic Severe Hepatitis

Objective: To observe the efficacy of combine traditional chinese and western medicine method on treatment of chronic severe hepatitis.Methods:61 cases of chronic severe hepatitis patients were randomly divided into two groups.The control group were given protect liver,remove jaundice,antivirus,immune adjustment and orthers therapy,the treatment group were given reducing fever,clearing damp,detoxification and invigorate the circulation of blood.Observed the changes of patients' symptoms and the alanine aminotransferase(ALT),total bilirubin(TBIL),cholinesterase(CHE),prothrombin activity(PTA) before and after treatment.Results: The total efficiency of the treatment group was 87.1%;the total efficiency of the control group was 63.3%.The curative effect of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(P0.05).Two groups'ALT、TBIL、CHE and PTA were higher than before treatment(P0.01 or P0.05).The treatment group improved more significantly(P0.05).Conclusion: Combine traditional chinese and western medicine is an effective method on treatment of chronic severe hepatitis.
