Abstract
A contrast test about common asphalt pavement and hydrophobic asphalt pavement with low noise was carried on,selecting Qingchun road and Jianguo road in Hangzhou as the objects.The results show that hydrophobic asphalt pavement with low noise has obvious effect on noise reduction.Leq noise reduction is up to 3.8 ~ 9.3 dB in sunny days and 7.2 ~ 8.7 dB in rainy days.The appropriate speed will help reduce traffic noise in urban road.
