Abstract
By analyzing the characteristics of the road traffic noise,the feature,the structure and the noise reduction mechanism of the low-noise pavement,the research results of traffic noise and comparing monitoring results of the low-noise pavement of the second phase of the Ning(bo)—Hang(zhou) highway and the traditional pavement,the low-noise asphalt pavement has a better effect than the traditional pavement in traffic noise reduction.Compared to the traditional pavement,the traffic noise level of the low-noise asphalt pavement is 3~4 dB(A) lower in the embankment,and 1.1~3.5 dB(A) lower in the position of 15 meters away from the road.
