Cultural Consciousness of University Students——Thoughts on Developing Chinese Traditional Culture

In the context of economic globalization and cultural diversity,culture has occupied an increasingly prominent position in competition of comprehensive national strength.It is of great significance for university students,as the builders of the socialism with Chinese characteristics,to develop culture consciousness.In light of the students' present condition,their cultural awareness can be cultivated in three steps,i.e.recognition,knowledge and practice,so as to help them examine China and the world at the height of the world civilization while making their ideals and faith rooted in Chinese traditional culture based on their acknowledgement with confidence.
