Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of E-max ceramic inlay and provide guidance for clinical work. Methods To examine the integrity,marginal fitness,gingival health and color of teeth about 94 patients whose 128 teeth restored with E-max ceramic inlay after6moths and,18 monthsrepaired respectively.Results In all inlay restorations, two cases fractured in 3 months,four cases fell off in 3~6 months.In marginal gingival health,almost all restorations can achieve to clinical requirement.In color,about 5%~7%prosthesis dentists and patients were all not satisfied with. Conclusion The E-max ceramic inlay may meet the clinical requirement,but the skill need to be improved in occlusion, bonding technique and color.
