Abstract

Objective To determine the content of triptolide in Tripterygium wilfordii Hook f.by HPLC.Methods An external standard method was used with Angilent Zorbax SC-C18 and the mobile phase of methanol∶water(40∶60).The wavelength for the detection was 218 nm and the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1.Temperature: 25 ℃,sample size: 20 μL.Results The linear range for the determination of triptolide was 0.049 8~0.249 0 mg·mL-1(r =0.999 8,n=5).The average recovery was 100.66% and RSD was 1.60%(n=9).Conclusion The method is simple and accurate with good separation.The results are sensitive and reproducible and may be used in the quality control of triptolide in Tripterygium wilfordii Hook f.and its preparation.
