Abstract

OBJECTIVE To investigate into the method of determination of the content of triptolide in Tripterygium Wilfordii Herbal Pieces sold in the market. METHOD HPLC method was used with methanol water as the mobile phase for gradient elution. The chromatographic column was Hypersil ODS 2 (4.6 mm×200 mm, 5μm); the flow rate was 0.8 mL/min.; and the detection wave length was 218 nm. RESULT The linear range was 0.004~0.7 μg, r =0.999 9, marked recovery rate was 98.2%, and RSD =2.02% ( n =6). CONCLUSION This method has a good repeatability and sensibility.
