Research on the disparity of regional economic development in Anhui province and possible solutions- an empirical analysis based on factor analysis and cluster analysis

This paper firstly constructs the evaluation index system of regional economic development level,then empirically analyzes the statistical data of 16 prefecture level cities of Anhui province in 2013 by the method of factor analysis and cluster analysis. According to the empirical results,they are classified into four classes: the developed,the under- developed,the general,the backward. Secondly,the paper analyzes the reasons of the regional disparity,and finally puts forward some suggestions on coordinating the development of regional economy in Anhui province.
