Evaluation of the Development Level of Regional Economy in Henan Province

The paper constitutes an evaluation index system of the regional economic development level of Henan Province by selecting the regional economic aggregate,the regional foreign economic openness,the regional people's living standard and the regional infrastructure,which including 24 regional economic indicators. Applying the regression analysis method and the KMO statistical test,the results show that it is reasonable and effective to evaluate the regional economic development level of Henan Province by using the factor analysis method. According to the statistic data in 2012,using the factor analysis method to make comprehensive evaluation of the regional economic development level of 18 prefecture-level cities in Henan Province,adopting the cluster analysis method to evaluate the assessment results,then put forward the relevant policies and proposals about the regional economic development level coordination.
