Abstract

This paper investigated the market of GIS professionals,and summed up the demand characteristic of GIS professionals.Based on the market analysis it constructed demand-oriented multidimensional Knowledge Structure of GIS professional.According to the levels of the knowledge structure,it studied curriculum setting and education program of GIS specialty.
