Ecological Marxism and Re-construction of Theory on Ecological Civilization in China

Ecological Marxism aims to provide a comprehensive analysis on the roots of ecological crisis from economic,political,cultural,and social angles,which is still very profound.However,when identifying the capital logic as the primary source of ecological crisis,it fails to give an in-depth inspection of modern metaphysics which is the inherent mechanism of capital operation.In addition,it does not fully explore the deeper meaning of culture,as well as the cultural problems behind the ecological crisis.As a result,this will inspire us to grasp the true connotation of culture in its philosophical dimension and make a deep critique of the ideological premise of capital when we are reconstructing our own theory of ecological civilization.
