Abstract

This paper introduces the police service system developed on the basis of GPS and GPRS,which,will help the police to attack rob,grab fighting and criminal activities etc.with handheld computer,electronic map,GPS and GPRS transceiver.The main function of the police service system includes accepting the hot job,inquiring about the on-the-spot place of the criminal activity,choosing the best route to the scene and the best scheme of seeking for help and promptly attacking the behavior of committing crime to the command centre or the nearby police,etc..
