Abstract

The pour point depressant injection method could be used to improve the technology of waxy crude oil effectively at lower temperature and achieve the transportation of waxy crude oil at normal temperature. This paper described the common types and combinational theory of pour point depre ssant, the development of combinational pour point depressant and its application in oil field. Meanwhile, some problems in combination and application of pour point depressant were pointed out.
