Abstract
from 2008 to 2010,the authors investigated,collected and analyzed Butterfly species in xiaosanxia Forest Park of Tianzhu between July and September.Specimens belonging to 77 species/subspecies,8 families and 54 genera were identified and classified.The families found,their number of genera and species and their respective proportion of all species,were: Pieridae,9 genera and 22 species(28.5%),Nymphalidae,17 genera and 17 species(22.08%),Lycaenidae,9 genera and 9 species(11.69%) Satyridae,13 genera and 14 species(18.18%),Parnassidae,1 genusera and 8 species(10.39%),Hesperiidae,3 genera and 3 species(3.9%),Papilionidae and Riodinidae,1 genusera and 2 species respectively(2.60%).Of 54 genera,45(83.33%) are single genera.The ratio of genera and species is 0.86.
