Abstract
Objective To investigate the drinking quality in Suzhou countryside in order to provide scientific data for the work of water-reform in countryside.Methods To monitor seventy one monitoring sites(distributed in five counties)of the drinking quality;and to analysis and evaluate the drinking quality accordint to Sanitary standard for drinking water GB5749-2006.Results The qualification rate was 88.7% during abundant-water season,which was significantly higher than that during dry season(62.8%,p=0.001).The main disqualification items were free residual chlorine and turbidity.Conclusion It is very important to reinforce the management of the drinking quality in countryside,spread the successful experience of district supply,and expand the areas of district supply.
