Abstract
Polysaccharide,which was obtained from Dioscorea opposita by a series of steps of extraction,separation and purification.This polysaccharide was of homogeneous by DEAE column chromatography,this is proven by Sephadex G-100 column chromatography.Monosaccharide residues identified by GC-MS were glucose and mannose(0.56:0.44).There is α-glycoside linkages as shown by FT-IR and NMR spectrum.
