Abstract
When studying Ye Shi, we always paid more attention to his politics, philosophy and economic thoughts and took him as a politician and thinker in the history. Actually Ye Shi was an important author and critic, in south song dynasty. Some of his literature thoughts have many value places, not only in the past but also in the present. In this paper the author wants to explain the three aspects of virtue, rules and transform of composition and rhetoric of literature thoughts of Ye Shi, in order to have an overall view to this historical figure.
