Abstract
In order to study the thermal decomposition performance of 1-methyl-4,5-dinitroimidazole,the thermal decomposition reaction of 1-methyl-4,5-dinitroimidazole was determined by means of TG-DSC at heating rates of 2.0K/min,5.0K/min,10.0K/min,15.0K/min.The kinetic parameters of the reaction were calculated by Ozawa method and Kissinger method.Furthermore, the rate constants of the reaction at 80℃,100℃,120℃and the corresponding critical temperatures of thermal explosion were calculated. The result shows that the apparent activation energy of thermal decomposition of 1-methyl-4,5-dinitroimidazole obtained by Ozawa and Kissinger methods are 96.43kJ/mol and 92.80kJ/mol,the critical temperatures of thermal explosion is 505.85K.The thermal stability of 1-methyl-4,5-dinitroimidazole is very well.
