Abstract
Isoamyl isovalerate has been synthesized by using ceric sulfate as catalyst. The optimized conditions are as follows: the weight of catalyst is 1.0g, the mole ratio of alcohol to acid is 1.5∶1.0, the reaction time is 1.5?h and the reagent (toulene) with water is 10?mL, and the esterification yield is 95.3%.The catalyst can be isolated from other substances and used repeatedly.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
