Abstract

Regional cluster innovation system has similarity in terms of internal structure. The paper describes the knowledge flow and spillovers in regional cluster innovation systems and builds up a model of relationship of competition-cooperation among the actors by the methodology of ecological complexity, and explains the model by analyzing a practical example. The research proves that common knowledge field and high-level interaction intensity have positive effects on innovation realization.Meanwhile the problem oflock-in should not be neglected.
