Analysis on the clinica application of blood components

Abstract

Objective To be aimed at the rising total amount of clinical application of blood components in our hospital,the blood component transfusion rate in our hospital wsa counted and arranged in tables.Then the data was analysed according to the application of clinical and transfusion departments.Methods 200 ml whole blood was taken as one unit and blood component prepared from 200 ml whole blood was one unit.The blood component transfusion rate(%)=units of blood component/(units of whole blood+units of blood component)×100 %.Results From 1999 to 2003 the blood component transfusion rate in our hospital rise up from 26 % to 90 %.Conclusion The blood component was widely applied in clinic because of its high theraputic effects and less side effects.Meanwhile the administration in blood transfusion was enhenced,so that the blood transfusion become more and more scientific and reseanable in our hospital.
