Abstract
Objective To evaluate the expression and relation between VEGF and angiogenesis in different stages of non-small cell lung cancer. Methods The expression of VEGF and angiogenesis were detected using immunohistochemical method in 79 lung cancer tissue and 12 normal tissue. The result was analyzed with immunohistochemical image-analysis system. Results VEGF and angiogenesis in NSCLC were significantly higher than that in normal pulmonary tissue. The expression of VEGF and angiogenesis was closely related to P-TNM stages, but there was no difference between adenocarcinoma and squamouscarcinoma. Conclusion A positive correlation was found between VEGF and angiogenesis in NSCLC.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
