Abstract

Objective To investigate clinical effect of azithromycin combined with erythromycin in the treatment of pediatric Mycoplasma pneumonia, which made guidance for clinical treatment. Methods 113 patients with pediatric Mycoplasma pneumonia admitted to our hospital from February 2010 to February 2013 were divided into the treatment group(n=57) and the control group(n=56) according to the visiting sequence. The treatment group was treated with azithromycin and erythromycin while the control group was treated with azithromycin, the related clinical indicators, the total effective rate and the incidence rate of adverse reactions after treatment were observed. Results After treatment, the related clinical indicators of the treatment group were better than that of the control group( P0.05);the total effective rate of the treatment group(96.49%) was higher than that of the control group(80.36%)( P0.05);the incidence rate of adverse reactions of the treatment group(14.04%) and the control group was 12.50%,and there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P0.05). Conclusion Azithromycin and erythromycin has a significant clinical curative effect treating pediatric Mycoplasma pneumonia. It is worth widely promoting.
