Abstract

Through the description of the background and implementation aspects of VMI,this paper introduced the application of VMI and its characteristics,proved the VMI mode can reduce inventory costs and improve the overall competitiveness of the supply chain,finally,analyzed the major difficulties faced in VMI implementation,and proposed solutions.
