Characteristics and Adjustment of Industrial Structure of Jilin Province

Industrial structure is one of the most important factors restricting sustainable,rapid and steady economic growth of a country.It is shown from international experience and Chinese practice that economic development is the process of adjustment and optimization of industrial structure continually,which means the process of the upgrading of industrial structure.Firstly,this article studies the evolutional characteristics of industrial structure of Jilin province from several aspects,including standard structure,the upgrading coefficient of industrial structure and Hoffman proportion.Then,with structure benefit as a benchmark,it estimates the level of industrial structure rationalization through calculating shadow price with DEA method.Accordingly the direction is put forward for the adjustment of the industrial structure of Jilin province.
