Abstract

Experimental study on the transesterification of soybean oil has been conducted. The results indicate that the best operation condition are 1% NaOH(W%) of oil,oil to methanol molar ratio is about 1∶6,reaction time is about 50 minutes, reaction temperation is about 50~60 ℃,and the water content in oil should be less than 0.1%.
