Abstract

Objective To investigate clinical value of fetal MCA hemodynamics with type B ultrasound apparatus in cases with cord around neck to predict intrauterine fetal anoxia. Methods Fetal MCA hemodynamics indexes were measured with colorful Doppler ultrasound apparatus in 78 healthy cases (control group) and 33 cases with cord around neck (cord around neck group). Results Intrauterine fetal anoxia was indicated according to Vs43.0, Vd11.0, S/D4.0, RI0.6 of fetal MCA. 8 cases (10.2%) in the control group were complicated with intrauterine fetal anoxia. 24 cases (72.7%) were complicated with intrauterine fetal anoxia in the cord around neck group, especially, whose S/D and RI were significantly lower than those in the control group (\$P\$0.05).Conclusion Prenatal examination with type B ultrasound technique has practical value in understanding fetal brain blood circulation and preventing intrauterine fetal anoxia in time.
