On the Education of History of Science from the Perspective of General Education

Abstract
Three aspects have to be considered in promoting and developing general education in colleges and universities of China.The first one is that the general education concept of all-around development should be established,which is internally in accordance with the objective of quality education.The second is that the integration of cultural spirit and scientific spirit should be embodied in general education.The third is that general education and professional education should be well combined.Offering courses of history of science of different degrees in colleges and universities is an effective way to embody the general education concept.
