Abstract
Objective To study the clinical significance of serum homocysteine and D-dimer testing in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods From June 2012 to June 2013 in our hospital, 40 patients with cerebral infarction as the research object, based on CT or MRI lesion size shown were divided into a large area of cerebral infarction group(lesion diameter 5 cm) 15 cases, a small area of cerebral infarction group(lesion diameter 5 cm)25 cases; alternative for the same period in the hospital for 40 cases of normal healthy control group,cerebral infarction group compared with normal control group,serum Hcy,DD levels and different infarcts serum Hcy,DD levels were compared. Results 40 cases of cerebral infarction patients serum Hcy,DD levels were 15.18 ± 2.73 μmol/L,(1.68±0.45)mg/L, respectively,was significantly higher than the normal control group, the difference was significant(P 0.05). 15 cases of large infarct group Hcy, DD levels were(17.23±3.46)μmol/L,(1.72±0.35)mg/L,respectively,was significantly higher than the group of small infarct size,the difference was significant between the two groups(P 0.05). Conclusion Cerebral infarction is a complex pathological process, and its various indicators are dynamic and changing,homocysteine and D-dimer levels and the occurrence and development of cerebral infarction is closely related,HCY and Ddimer test items as a regular one helps to reduce the incidence of cerebral infarction.
