Abstract
Narrow distributed polystyrene microspheres were synthesized in the 1.38 μm size with SPAN at 0.77 by dispersion polymerization,in the methanol medium with PVP as a stabilizer and AIBN as a initiator. The effects of the reaction parameters such as the monomer concentration in the systems, the initiator dosage, and the stabilizer dosage on the particle size and the size distribution were investigated. The morphology of polystyrene microspheres was observed by SEM,IR,DSC,particle size analyzer, etc. The conclusions also shows that only specific sets of conditions produce particles with a narrow distributed size distribution.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
