Abstract
The location and cause to the formation of the intermediate crack for continuous casting slab are analyzed by macro examination and SEM,measures to eliminate the intermediate crack are put forward including compositions of the steel,secondary cooling schedule,caster equipment status,molten steel superheat,the casting speed.After the improvement the intermediate crack occurrence has been obviously decreased.
