Abstract

Lan Dingyuan was a representative figure of Confucianism Dao-nan Academic School in the Early Qing Dynasty.The ethical thoughts of the famous Confucian scholar not only indicates distinctive tradition characteristics,but also shows historical transition features.We feel it is more important that the new ethical thought that Agricultural and Commercial helped both to our morals occupied has certain position in the development history of chinese ethical thoughts.
