Design and Implementation of a Remote Automatic Meter Reading System Based on GSM

Abstract

For the modern development of electric company,a remote automatic meter reading system based on GSM is designed.And the products are realized and applied.In this system,automatic meter reading is completed by SCM and the remote wireless transmission is realized in GSM module.Finally,by using the Data Interchange Platform(DIP),data can be stored into the background database.Moreover,the system includes a Web server realizing the modern information management.On-line management and information query are supported for the administrators and customers respectively.
