Abstract
Objective: To compare the application of temporary pipe in femoral and internal jugular vein on hemodialysis. Methods:A retrospective control study was carried out to compare clinical datas including the cather survival, related complications, mean blood flow during hemodialysis and Kt / V on 30 patients with temporary pipe in internal jugular vein and 30 patients in femoral vein. Results:The service life of internal jugular vein group was(80 ± 11)d,the femoral vein group was(25 ± 11)d,and the difference was significant(P 0.05).The infection rate and blockage rate in internal jugular vein group were significant lower than the femoral vein group, but the mean blood flow during hemodialysis and Kt / v had no difference between two groups. Conclusion:The pipes in femoral and internal jugular vein are good for hemodialysis, and internal jugular vein are better than femoral vein.
