Abstract

In Analects of Confucius, piety includes the thoughts of be filial to the parents and obedience, etc. On the basis of inheriting the thought of piety in Western Zhou Dynasty, it contains not only some new explanations, but also a lot of feudal dross. Today we still need to develop the energetic fruit of the Confucian school's piety, and at the same time we must reject the backward feudal thoughts in order to develop the socialist morality and spiritual civilization.
