Abstract

PurposeTo investigate the purification of flavonoids from the leaves of Ginkgo biloba.MethodsThe extracting conditions of flavonoids from the leaves of Ginkgo biloba were optimized by orthogonal design.Adsorption and desorption characteristics of flavonoids were carried out on the resins.HPLC was used to determine the content of flavonoids.ResultsThe optimal extracting conditions were 90℃,20∶1(v/w),4 h.The better resin D_(201) was chosen, and the optimum parameters were obtained. The content of flavonoids was more than 71% detected by HPLC.ConclusionThis method has better prospect of industrialization for its low cost, simple operation.Besides this the resin can be repeatedly used.
