The Urban Spatial Development Of Central Cities In Northwest China——Take Xining As The Case

This paper takes Xining as a case to discuss the urban spatial development of central cities in Northwest China.With the rapid economic growth there are many difficulties in the urban spatial development,even seriously impede the development of these cities.Based on the analysis of the conflicts,the paper puts forward development strategies at three levels for the urban spatial:First,to create a strong Xining;Second,to plan Xining metropolitan region;Third,to integrate the relationship of Lanzhou and Xining.
