Abstract
Fruit of Angeleno plum cultivar were used as material for studying the changes and relationship of the content of anthocyanin, endogenous hormone, PAL and PPO activity in the skin of Angeleno plum fruit. The result showed that antho-cyanin content in fruit skin was lower at the prophase than anaphase, and it showed ascending trends during fruit development. The content of ethylene, ABA, ZT and PPO activity were increased too during fruit development process. There was evenly marked positive correlation between ethylene and anthocyanin r=0.8885** , the content of ABA, ZT and anthocyanin were marked positive r=0.7159* and r=0.7476*, PPO activity was not marked. The content of IAA, GA3 and PAL activity were higher at prophase than anaphase, they were negatively correlated with anthocyanin, r=-0.7039* and r=-0.8238*, PAL activity was not marked.
