Abstract
To identify the optimal extraction process of total flavonoids from Puerariae Flos, determine its content and investigate its free radical scavenging effect in vitro. With orthogonal test, the optimal conditions were determined as follows: methanol concentration of 50 %,temperature of 70 ℃,extraction time of 2.0 h,and ratio of solid to liquid was 1∶30(g/mL).Under these conditions, the extraction yield was 17.48%.The scavenging free radical activities, including ABTS·+,DPPH,NO and O2-· radicals were studied. The results indicated that the total flavonoids from Puerariae Flos exhibited free radical scavenging activity against DPPH,NO,O2-.and antioxidant capacity to some extent.
