Abstract

In order to observe the biological effect of rare earth (RE) on Corynebacterium glutamicum S(9114), the effects of single compound CeCl(3) on the growth of Corynebacterium glutamicum S(9114) and the enzymatic activities of glutamate dehydrogenase ( GDH )and lactate dehydrogenase ( LDH ) were studied. The results showed that CeCl(3) accelerated the growth of Corynebacterium glutamicum S(9114) at low dosage range, but inhibited the growth when the dosage increased to certain content. The same effect was also observed for the enzymatic activities of GDH and LDH.
