Abstract

ObjectiveTo understand the mental health status of the North Sichuan Medical students.MethodsAccording to their experience,42 students of Psychological Counseling filled the symptom check list 90(SCL-90) independently.And the data were compared with the national norm.ResultsCompared to the national norm,the anxiety is higher significant.,the average scores of the hostility,phobic anxiety and psychotic factors were lower than that of norm of normal Chinese.And there were some significant difference.s There were also significant differences between schoolboys and schoolgirls at the interpersonal sensitivity,anxiety and the public anxiety.While the scores of schoolboys is higher at the interpersonal factor,and the scores of anxiety and public anxiety factors is higher.ConclusionThe psychological health state of the students is comparatively sound.But the average scores are higher than the norms at some factors,the school should pay more attention to the mental health of the students.
