Abstract

The data warehouse is one of database development directions,it plays an important function of assistance to the business management and the decision-making.This article briefly introduced data warehouse and metadata the basic concept,elaborated with emphasis the metadata in the data warehouse system function,management,CWM standard and source.Preliminary research and the discussion about the application of the metadata database were conducted.
