Abstract

Aim To study the technology for purification of total flavonoids from artemisia argyi with different types of macroporous resin. Methods The static capacity adsorption and static elution ratio of 5 types of macroporous resin were studied respectively and compared to find the optimum one.The content of total flavonoids was researched and compared to obtain optimum technological parameters. Results the AB-8 type of macroporous resin showed optimum adsorption and elution parameters. The concentration of artemisia argyi sample extract was 4.42mg·mL-1 and its pH was 4.0.After being eluted with 3mL/min of 70% ethol, the yield of total flavonoids was 82% and the product content was 64%.Conclusion The AB-8 showed better comprehensive adsorption and could be used to separate and purity the extraction of total flavonoids from artemisia argyi.
