Abstract

Aim To investigate the differences of pathological results between multiple sites biopsy and knife cervical conization, and to evaluate the accurancy of cervix biopsy, and the diagnostic and therapeutic value of cervical conization for the patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN).Methods 102 patients who were diagnosed CIN with pathologic histology of vaginoscope were operated on conization of cervix, and the pathologic results before and after the operation were compared. Results On the premise that the coordinate pathological levels were the same,81 cases(79.4%)were accordant with cervix biopsy results after conization, while 21 cases were not.Among the 21 cases,13 patients'diagnostic results after conization were more serious than that of biopsy, and 8 patients were milder. Conclusion Pathologic histology with vaginoscope is a simple and effective method for diagnosing CIN.Conization of cervix can remedy the defect of the pathologic histology with vaginoscope and shows a therapeutical effect.
