Abstract
Objective:To determine the distributional trend of different sub-types of Human Papillomavirus(HPV) among local women with cervical diseases.Methods: Adopt hybridization HPV DNA detection method to detect 21 HPV subtypes of cervix cell in 2005 patients with cervical diseases(including chronic cervicitis,cervical intraepithelial neoplasia1(CNⅠ),cervical intraepithelial neoplasia2/3(CNⅡ/Ⅲ) to cervical cancer(CC)).Results: The rate of HPV infection was 58.2%,multiple infection rate was 21.6%.The prevalence of HPV infection in chronic cervicitis,CNⅠ,CNⅡ,CNⅢ and CC were 19.3%,56.8%,82.2%,90.5% and 100%,respectively.All 21 HPV subtypes of cervix cell were detected,of which HPV16,HPV52,HPV58 and HPV18 were the most common to be detected,which accounted for 26.5%,25.0%,16.4%,12.3% and 11.1%,respectively.Conclusion: The most common high risk HPV subtype in the spectrum of cervical diseases is HPV16 in the region of Suzhou.The step-wise distributional changes of HPV types along with the cervical diseases spectrum reflect their transformational capability at different steps of cervical carcinogenesis and clinical physician should pay attention to high risk HPV type,especially to HPV16.
