A Comparison between Eco-Socialist Development Concept and Scientific Development Concept and Its Enlightenment

The emergence of the eco-socialist development concept and the advancement of the scientific development concept have a similar social and historical background: both are faced with similar social and historical problems;both emphasizing the harmonious development between man and nature,both taking Marxism as their theoretical origin.Starting from the basic principles of historical materialism,eco-socialism has made some profound reflection on some basic viewpoints of historical materialism,which has provided us with a new perspective to understand the problems in the light of the scientific development concept.The eco-socialism believes that there ought to be a coordinate development between man and nature,which provides reference for us to correctly understand and handle the value relationship between man and nature;the eco-socialist concept of development emphasizes the development of grass-root democracy,fostering the civil society,and achieving positive interaction between state and society,which provides us with a world background reference for the making of harmonious politics and practicing of scientific development concept.
