Abstract

As a type of musical literary works,the words of popular songs have both their musical and literary quality,i.e.,they can be sung when set to music and appreciated without music,hence their unique aesthetic features. It is possible and necessary to research on them from literary perspective. The literary beauty of the words of popular songs includes the beauty of the language,image, structure and music. Since no adequate research has been made in the field,great achievement can be made if it is explored.
