On the Representation of Musical Images in the Creation of Songs

Abstract
Musical images in songs are represented through the combination of musical sounds and literary means. Therefore, the composer must first of all gain a deep understanding of the words in terms of their theme and structure, their rhythm, rhyming patterns and their connotations. Based on this, it is then the composer's task to portray a perfect artistic image by choosing a proper musical theme, the right kind of musical rhythm to match that of the words.
